Responsibility and Area of Specialty:

Research responsibilities for weed management in small fruits and vegetables. Research interests include herbicide efficiency and carryover, weed/crop competition, weed biology, and field residue studies.

Areas of Interest:

  • Weed/crop interaction (competition/interference) studies in vegetable and fruit crops
  • Studies for developing strategies for controlling difficult to control weeds in the above crops
  • Efficacy trials for herbicides and non-chemical weed control methods in vegetable and small fruit crops
  • Extension agent and grower educational programs in weed management in small fruit crops and vegetables
